Server log files

You can use our websites without submitting personal data.

Every time our website is accessed, user data is transferred to us or our web hosts/IT service providers by your internet browser and stored in server log files. This stored data includes for example the name of the site called up, date and time of the request, the IP address, amount of data transferred and the provider making the request. The processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1) f) GDPR due to our legitimate interests in ensuring the smooth operation of our website as well as improving our services.

Partner account

This website is intended for our business partners. To use it, you need a user account. When registering we process your first and last name, e-mail address, phone number (optional), your password (stored only as a cryptographic hash) and the company (partner) you belong to. The registration requires a registration key that we provide to your company.

With your account you can view and edit the data of the AirCU and AirMI devices assigned to your company, e.g. comments and the vehicle a device is installed in. Vehicle assignments are kept as a history so that it remains traceable in which vehicle a device was installed.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for the performance of our business relationship with your company and on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in providing a secure partner portal. The data is stored as long as the account exists and is deleted afterwards, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Autoleveling beta program

If you register for the autoleveling beta program via our app, we process your first and last name, e-mail address and the serial numbers of your AirCU and AirMI devices. We send you an e-mail to verify your e-mail address and to inform you about the approval for the beta program.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in order to carry out the beta program. The data is deleted when you leave the beta program or the beta program ends, unless statutory retention periods apply.

Data transmitted by the STREETEC app and the AirCU control unit

When you use the STREETEC autoleveling app with an AirCU control unit, the app transmits the following technical data to our server. This data does not contain your name, address, e-mail address, the vehicle identification number, the license plate or location data. It is stored in pseudonymised form, i.e. linked only to the serial number of the AirCU or to a technical device ID and not directly to your person.

Vehicle assignment

The serial number of the AirCU, the vehicle selected in the app (manufacturer, model and type from a vehicle catalogue), the installed suspension type and the date of the assignment. We use this data to provide calibration values and support suitable for your vehicle and to improve our products for the respective vehicle types.

Calibration values

The calibration values determined by the AirCU (e.g. sensor zero points, pressure limits, raising and lowering speeds, correction factors) together with the serial number and the time of the calibration. We use these values to analyse problems in support cases, to improve the leveling function, and as default values for other users of the same vehicle type. In this case the calibration values are provided together with the serial number of the AirCU they were determined with, but without any information about you such as name or contact details.

Error reports

If an error occurs in the app, the app transmits an error report containing a technical device ID, the operating system (platform), the app version and the technical description of the error (stack trace). We use error reports exclusively to detect and fix errors in the app.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR due to our legitimate interest in the technical support, the error-free operation and the further development of our products. The data is stored as long as it is required for these purposes. You have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. To do so, please contact us at info@streetec.net stating the serial number of your AirCU.

Proactive contact of the customer by e-mail

If you make contact with us proactively via email, we shall collect your personal data (name, email address, message text) only to the extent provided by you. The purpose of the data processing is to handle and respond to your contact request.

If the initial contact serves to implement pre-contractual measures (e.g. consultation in the case of purchase interest, order creation) or concerns an agreement already concluded between you and us, this data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.

If the initial contact occurs for other reasons, this data processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for the purposes of our overriding, legitimate interest in handling and responding to your request. In this case, on grounds relating to your particular situation, you have the right to object at any time to this processing of personal data concerning you and carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We will only use your email address to process your request. Your data will subsequently be deleted in compliance with statutory retention periods, unless you have agreed to further processing and use.
